Jasmin is interested in the field of RE-Ba-Cu-O high temperature superconductors. She is involved in improving the reliability of processing to increase the viability and sustainability of practical use. She is focusing on improvement of the mechanical and superconducting properties of these materials.
Funding is available to work on a 4 year iCASE supported PhD project as part of a collaboration between the University of Cambridge and Oxford Instruments NanoScience. For further information please see the full details.
Prof. Campbell's obituary has been published in the Guardian.
The group is saddened by the death of Prof. Archie Campbell, Emeritus Professor of Electromagnetism. Archie remained an active member of the Bulk Superconductivity Research Group and the Department since his retirement, and continued to play a key role in the development and understanding of applied superconductivity right up to his death.
