Harry provides technical support to all members of Bulk Superconductivity Group in the field of RE-Ba-Cu-O high temperature superconductors. He is involved in the process, characterisation and practical use of superconductors and related apparatus.
Harry has over 35 yrs Technical Service across the Departments of Materials, Physics & Engineering
Funding is available to work on a 4 year iCASE supported PhD project as part of a collaboration between the University of Cambridge and Oxford Instruments NanoScience. For further information please see the full details.
Prof. Campbell's obituary has been published in the Guardian.
The group is saddened by the death of Prof. Archie Campbell, Emeritus Professor of Electromagnetism. Archie remained an active member of the Bulk Superconductivity Research Group and the Department since his retirement, and continued to play a key role in the development and understanding of applied superconductivity right up to his death.
