Difan Zhou is a Research Associate in the Bulk Superconductivity Group, part of Division C (Mechanics, Materials and Design).

Research

Dr. Zhou is interested in the research field of high temperature superconductivity. He has acquired skills in the processing of RE-Ba-Cu-O high temperature superconductors and is extremely interested in using high temperature superconductors for practical applications.

    The group is saddened by the death of Prof. Archie Campbell, Emeritus Professor of Electromagnetism. Archie remained an active member of the Bulk Superconductivity Research Group and the Department since his retirement, and continued to play a key role in the development and understanding of applied superconductivity right up to his death.
